I have been taking my now 3 1/2 year old daughter to Bayview since they opened. My daughter loves Dr. Stephanie and Dr. Tera! They are amazing with children and both are surperb dentists! They provide amazing care and are great at what they do! The staff is friendly and professional. The office is immaculately clean! I wish they would let mommy’s been seen here! My daughter looks forward to seeing Nemo and Dory in the fish tank and getting a special prize at the end!

Very clean office, super sweet and welcoming staff. The Dr. Tera was soft spoken and patient with our daughter and was able to get exam done very efficiently! Love the toothy dragon and toothbrush , my daughter enjoyed brushing its teeth. Also appreciate that all the toys appear clean and new unlike many dr offices I have seen in past where they are run down and disgusting. It’s nice to walk into an environment where u feel your child can roam safely in play area without having to worry.

I have no words, everybody was so kind and respectful with me and the kids. The waiting room has lots of things to entertain the kids. Dr Tera was really patient explaining every single detail of the X-Rays and explained everything she was doing to the kids. The experience was awesome.Edited: One year after our first review I am here to say again how awesome Dr. Tera is. I really recommend. She tries her best to avoid unnecessary treatments. I can feel that she wants the best for my kids and not only to get money. I got even a refund for a treatment that the insurance covered and I had no idea. My kids feel really comfortable with her and so do I. I wish we could take her wherever we go.

We had a great first visit with dr Stephanie. She is amazing with kids. Her staff is very welcoming as well. My 5 yr old is always looking forward to his dental visits. Dr Stephanie makes it so easy and fun for the kids. I cannot thank her enough for being such a great dentist for my kids. I would highly recommend her and the office.

We took our 2 year old daughter to see Dr. Stephanie at Bayview Pediatric dental group and couldn’t be more pleased! The office was immaculate and very nicely decorated. Plenty of toys, a big fish tank and even iPads for the kids! All the staff were super helpful and friendly!Dr. Stephanie was awesome with our daughter and made her feel very comfortable. Dr. Stephanie has great bedside manner and is great with kids! The doctor spent extra time with us for teaching and answering questions. We will definitely be bringing our daughter back here in the future! My daughter got a cute pair of sunglasses and a toy for being a good patient I highly recommend Bayview pediatric dental group! Update: My almost 3 year old just finished with her 3rd check-up with Dr Stephanie and I could not be more pleased! Dr. Stephanie is always so great with my kiddo and very patient! We were seen on-time, which is always appreciated! My little girl just loves getting her teeth cleaned by Dr. Stephanie!! The office is immaculate as always and the staff was professional. My daughter also enjoys Nemo in the fish tank in the waiting area. Looking forward to our next visit in 6 months!!

Took my 6yo twins here for their first dental checkups, thumbs up all around from walking in to not having to wait for their appointment to be called in right away. Dr. Tera and staff were very patient and accommodating to both our kids. They were previewed to the exam and cleaning every step of the way, my daughter even had a dragon stuffed animal at the office to brush for while her teeth was being cleaned. There are iPads in the waiting area, kids did not want to leave the office. Great feel from the moment we walked in til the time we were done with the appointment. I even asked if adults can be seen just to have the VIP treatment:)). Thank you Dr. Tera and team, keep up the awesomeness!

My son and I LOVE this office !! My poor little dude has had so many dental procedures he was terrified until we made the switch to come to see Dr Tara and Dr Stephanie. He loves coming in. The team are so welcoming and know each of their patients. Highly recommend this dental group for all of the South Bay Littles

My little boy was terrified of going to the dentist for the first time. As soon as we walked in he started calming down. The waiting area is inviting and warm with great visuals for kids so he immediately started focusing on the cool place instead of having to see a doctor. The game in the waiting area helped prepare him for the experience he was about to have showing him the tools that will be used, the chair he’ll sit in, etc. Once it was our turn to head into a room his attitude towards the experience and completely changed. The assistants and doctor were all great and explained every step of the process to him, and he went along with everything without complaint. Couldn’t have been happier with the experience. We saw Dr. Tera for my daughter’s first visit to the dentist. The waiting area is inviting and engaging for the kids. The office staff was professional. The lap exam for my 23 month old was stress free. Dr. Tera has excellent bedside manner and we received lots of good information for prevenative dental care. My daughter had a very good first experience at the dentist and didn’t want to leave the office at the end of the visit.

I don’t usually write reviews but I feel the need to write about the truly wonderful experience my children (ages 4.5 and 2) and I have had at Bayview Pediatric Dental Group. Dr. Stephanie and her staff are AMAZING! With their friendly and calm demeanor, they know how to put a child at ease. They go slowly, explaining procedures and tools in a developmentally appropriate way. They also know how to be playful and silly and make appointments fun! Their approach empowers children to handle dental treatments that they otherwise would not be able to tolerate. My 4-year-old daughter is a perfect case in point. After my daughter had a hard time getting a cavity filled by her last pediatric dentist, the dentist recommended IV sedation. I was not given options or time to discuss alternatives. I felt rushed and did not feel comfortable with how quickly I was being asked to sedate my child. I asked several pediatric dentists for a second opinion and that is when I found Dr. Stephanie. Dr. Stephanie made time to discuss treatment options with me. She shared her knowledge and expertise in a professional and straightforward way that I could understand and she did so while offering a compassionate ear and hearing my concerns. Dr. Stephanie suggested that we schedule a few desensitization visits to help my daughter develop a relationship with her and to build in some positive experiences that would hopefully pave the way for successful treatments. I’m happy to report that we were able to avoid IV sedation and my daughter now confidently sits through lengthy treatment appointments with Dr. Stephanie. My daughter LOVES going to the dentist now and I could not be more grateful to Dr. Stephanie and the amazing staff at Bayview Pediatric. They truly are the BEST!!

I brought our 5 children here after feeling we have been consistently overcharged in our pediatric dental office. I cannot begin to explain how happy we are with the level of service, insurance verification, communication and follow up post procedure from both the doctors. Office is impeccable and timely appointments make this working mom so happy! Would HIGHLY recommend! Dr. Tera and Dr Stephanie are really amazing.

Wonderful place and wonderful dentists and staff!! Love the sibling chairs so both kids could get in and out in a reasonable time and I didn’t have to run between rooms. They are great with kids, even the 2 year old made it through the whole thing without fussing once!

I took my 3yr old son for his first ever dental visit today. The office was very clean, modern and had a lot of activities to keep kids occupied. We saw Dr. Tera and she was fabulous. I was nervous because my wife and I can barely brush our son’s teeth without a fight . Dr. Tera was like a child whisperer with my son and managed to keep him calm and relatively still enough to inspect, clean and X-ray his teeth. The rest of the office staff were outstanding as well. If they took adults I would go here as well. I highly recommend this dentist and had a great experience.

I took my 2 year old son to Bayview after he injured his front tooth. I have to say that I am so impressed with this office. Dr. Sephanie went above and beyond for us. She took great care of my son, and took so much time with me to explain his injury, as well as how to properly brush and take care of his teeth daily. She also checked in with us a few days later to see how he was doing. The office is brand new, clean, and very calming. And her front office staff is very welcoming. I highly recommend the Bayview pediatric dental team!

I took my 3yr son and 4yr daughter to Bayview this week and… Wow, what a great experience. My first impression when walking in was that the office has a calming and inviting charm. My kids went over to watch the fish and play on the iPads and I checked them in peacefully. Within a few minutes we were called back to the treatment room which has a cute little South Bay view and the doctor and staff took over from there. My worries melted away as the kids were so excited to hop up onto the chairs. They loved the cute animal dental brushes that the assistant used and were completely comfortable with Dr. Tera.The most important thing to me though was the way the doctor and assistant were able to engage my children and give them a great dental experience. Balloons and prizes on the way out were a great final touch. My kids woke up the next day and asked when they get to go back.Well… hopefully not for another 6 months but a surprisingly simple and pleasant experience.Thank you Dr. Tera and the wonderful Bayview staff.

Today we had our second visit at their office. They received us as a family, full of affection. The waiting room is awesome, they have toys, tablets and a cute decoration. The dentist and the hygienist are really patient and work really well as a team. The receptionist is so kind. The kids feel comfortable and confident with all of them. She doesn’t push unnecessary service and talk to the kids in a language that they understand their responsibility on maintaining their teeth great. She shows us the options and I’ll be honest, I wish she could be also my dentist. I truly recommend.

I am so impressed with Dr. Tara and her staff that I feel the urge to share. The office is clean and peaceful. The staff is SO friendly and engaging with the kids. My kids (age 4 and 6) were really scared of dentist. Dr. Tara changed that! They let her clean their teeth, take X-rays and more. I am so happy we found this practice and will be coming here from now on.

We had a wonderful experience getting my 3 year old’s son’s teeth cleaned. We saw Dr. Tera and she was amazing with my son. It was the first time he sat through an entire cleaning. Bayview Pediatric Group is something between Disneyland and Santa’s workshop. Everyone from the front desk receptionist (Brandi) to the dental hygienist (Monica) to the dentist (Dr. Tera) went above and beyond to make our visit AMAZING. The waiting room is beautiful with brand new ipads and toys and comfy chairs and a coffee/tea station for parents (thank you!). Our hygienist (Monica) came to get us in the lobby and had us marching to our room and getting us all excited about our visit. She took the time to show my daughter all of her equipment and let her feel each piece, explain what they do and how they will feel in her mouth. She gave her a brand new pair of sunglasses to wear during the cleaning (and take home) and she took great effort to continually check in with her and praise her for her good job sitting still. Then Dr. Tera came in to count and check her teeth AND to top it off she gave my daughter’s toy alligator a check up! When we left she got a goody bag of teeth cleaning stuff, a balloon, a toy stuffed animal and a picture of her and her dentist to take home! Just to add a cherry on top they gave mom a gift too… a wine charm. This was hand down the most relaxing and enjoyable dental visit with the nicest group of people. We honestly cannot wait to come back; seriously… my daughter asked me when she could come back on our drive home.

Great pediatric dentist! Our first dentist office experience with a different office was really bad, so I’m glad we found Bayiew. All the staff was sooo nice and friendly and welcoming. And Dr Stephanie was a great dentist. My 3 year old son was completely at ease and cooperated the entire appointment because of the staff and beautiful brand new office. We previously had bad luck with another local pediatric dentist which made trusting another dentist with my children very difficult. Dr Stephanie immediately put my worries at ease. Upon entering her staff was so welcoming, they made me and my kids feel so comfortable. The dental hygienists were super kind and patient with ALL of my kids. Dr Stephanie walked each of my kids through a thorough demonstration on how to properly brush and floss, educating not only them but me as well. I cannot say enough about this place. As we were leaving my 10 year old who is extremely picky said that this was by far the BEST dental experience he had ever had. Coming from him that is HUGE! We can’t wait to go back.

I can’t even to begin to explain how incredible our experience was with Dr. Stephanie and her staff. My son is 15 months old and it was his FIRST visit ever to a dentist! Dr. Stephanie and her staff were so welcoming and made the visit very enjoyable for both me and my son. He had a blast and I also learned a lot on infant diet, nutrition, and proper home care. The office is beautiful, spotless, has all up-to-date technology, entertainment for the kids, and has a ton of parking! I am so relieved that we found an incredible dentist for our little one! The Bayview Pediatric Dental team is amazing! My children have had a fantastic experience there. The office staff is efficient and the cleaning and exams are thorough. I have two kids in braces which can make flossing difficult. Dr Stephanie and her staff talked to my kids about the importance of flossing and showed them how to do it. Now it is a breeze!
